Overview

We conduct comprehensive hazardous area classification studies based on API RP 505, IEC 60079, and EI (part-15) standards.


  • The study based on the European standard IEC 60079-10,  EI Part 15, API RP-500.
  • The purpose of this Hazardous Area classification study is to identify the extent of possible hazardous areas on new constructed assets, thereby: 
  • Reducing to an acceptable minimum level the probability of coincidence of a flammable atmosphere and an electrical or other source of ignition. 
  • Ensuring that electrical and mechanical apparatus is of an appropriate design.
